A basketball tournament among student clubs was held at Energo University
On February 3rd, at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after G. Daukeev), a basketball tournament took place with the participation of seven student clubs. This event became not just a sports competition, but also a powerful impetus for promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity among the student community after the winter holidays.
The tournament organizers express their sincere gratitude to the university's basketball team, led by coach Askar Beketovich Khairliev, for their help in officiating and the flawless organization of the event.
Participating student clubs:
Enactus - ENACTUS AUPET. A global organization aimed at improving people's lives through entrepreneurial action. Club members develop management skills, teamwork, and understanding of market economics.
Whymper Team - a youth club of active students aiming to expand their horizons, liberate students, and ensure active outdoor activities.
CCC - a charity club. The main goal is to assist children living in orphanages, students, and other people in difficult situations. CCC volunteers visit orphanages weekly, organize various events, and provide necessary resources to improve children's lives.
ADC - a student dance organization aimed at developing students' dance skills through organizing various events.
Ұлағат - an organization focused on strengthening national identity, promoting cultural heritage, and generational continuity.
SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space at Energo University) - an international student organization involved in scientific and technical activities and the development of the space industry.
Mars - a sports and cultural entertainment student community.
