“Tavrida Electric”, a strategic partner of Energo University, has opened a factory in Kazakhstan
On February 7th in Astana, “Tavrida Electric”, a company specializing in the development, production, and engineering of solutions for optimal distribution of electrical energy worldwide and a strategic partner of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev), opened its first factory in Kazakhstan for the production of innovative integrated distribution devices.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by Azamat Ardabaev, the director of “Tavrida Electric's” electrical equipment factory, Bakhruz Makharov, the director of “Tavrida Electric” Astana, Murat Amrin, the chairman of the board of NPP Atameken, Yermek Kadyrbekov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work at Energo University, among others.
"The opening of the factory in the Republic of Kazakhstan is an important step for “Tavrida Electric” in the development of production and offering customers innovative solutions. The new factory will more efficiently meet the needs of Kazakhstan's energy market and contribute to long-term cooperation with partners in the region," - said Bakhruz Makharov, director of the technical and commercial center of “Tavrida Electric” Astana. -"We are confident that the launch of “Tavrida Electric's” factory in Kazakhstan will contribute to the development of domestic industry and support strategic goals for reliable and sustainable power supply. The new energy sector needs new talents. Therefore, this spring we plan to launch another project – the opening of a Laboratory for Modeling the Networks of the Future at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev."
The specialized Laboratory at Energo University is planned to prepare high-class personnel for Kazakhstan's power engineering sector, including engineers who will be able to find employment at the new “Тavrida Electric” factory located in the Almaty district of the city Astana.
It is worth noting that the cooperation agreement between Energo University and “Tavrida Electric” was signed last autumn during the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM-2023" in Astana. The document was signed by Yermek Kadylbekov, Vice-Rector of Energo University, and Vladislav Vorotnitsky, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales at “Tavrida Electric” Group of Companies, leader of the "Reliable and Flexible Networks" subgroup of the working group of the National Technology Initiative "Energynet", and the leader of the first NTI "Energynet" project – "Digital district of EN".
"Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications has always been a leading university in Central Asia in the fields of energy, telecommunications, information and aerospace technologies. Therefore, it is no coincidence that our partners are leading companies such as “Tavrida Electric”,- noted Yermek Kadylbekov. " - We are glad that we have the opportunity to get acquainted with the new innovative production not only within the territory of the university, but also outside it".
