Thanksgiving Day at Energo University

On March 1st, within the walls of Energo University on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day, a round table was held on the active theme: "A Fair Kazakhstan - for all and for everyone. Now and forever."

The event was attended by members of student clubs at Energo University as well as representatives from various sectors of society. Among them were Nazerke Mundakhanova, a deputy of the maslikhat of Almaty city; Akezhan Kenesov, Chairman of the youth wing "Zhastar Rukhy" of Almaty city; Rustam Kairyev, a member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan; Beibut Kusainov, the first deputy chairman of the AGF NPK; Tamerlan Sultangaliev, deputy chairman of the ACB PPK; Ondasyn Kulymbetov, head of the community center of Zhetysu district in Almaty; Adil Nurpeisov, director of the NGO "Kaz Eco Patrol"; Ayman Iskakova, head of the department for work with foreign students and teachers of the "Narxoz University"; representatives of the Student Government of the Academy of Logistics and Transport - Anshibek Bakdaulet, Temirkhan Asel; as well as representatives of educational and public organizations.

 

Thanksgiving Day reminds us of the hospitality and warmth of the Kazakh people. In difficult times, Kazakhstan has welcomed millions of migrants, which is especially valuable, - noted Elikbay Kabi, Director of the Department of Youth Policy at Energo University. - The traditions of this holiday are only beginning to form in our society, but we already see that its target audience is the youth. The holiday is part of the educational process aimed at fostering tolerance, respect for diversity, and recognition of gratitude to the Kazakh people and the state. Together we are building a future based on mutual understanding, respect, and gratitude.
