A student from Energo University has been awarded the Academician Sh. Yessenov Scholarship.

Enlіk Mellatova, a third-year student at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumbarbek Daukeev) majoring in Space Engineering, is one of the 20 Kazakh students who have been awarded the prestigious scholarship named after Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov.
Kazakhstan citizens over 18 years old, studying in the 2nd to 3rd year of bachelor’s programs (2nd to 5th year for medical schools) at Kazakh universities, were eligible to apply for the grant from the Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov «Science and Education Foundation». She is highly passionate about space themes. - "Currently, I am engaged in scientific and practical activities aimed at developing space projects, specifically rockets," - Mellatova shares. - "Our SEDS ENERGO team has already launched more than 10 rockets at various altitudes. Currently, we are developing a flight control system operated by a movable nozzle."
Today, Enlіk has several co-authored scientific articles published and awaiting peer review. She has experience presenting at an international conference in Tashkent and a symposium in Istanbul. She is a recipient of certificates from the 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures program of the New York Academy of Sciences and a CubeSat assembly program by UNICEF and Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
To better understand the space industry in Kazakhstan, Enlіk has completed internships at the Republican Center for Space Communications (RCSC) and worked on operational tasks at the National Company "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary." Thanks to her proficiency in English, she studied the first semester of her second year under an academic mobility program at a university in Malaysia.
It is worth mentioning that Enlіk Mellatova has successful experience working on funded projects at the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A.Dzholdasbekov. In addition, Enlіk is a laureate of the "Parasat tandauy" award from the Almaty Professional Union "Parasat."

- "I want to express my gratitude for the continuous support and opportunities for development to the Director of the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering at Energo University, Alipbaev Kuanysh Aringozhayevich, and to my other colleagues at work," - says Enlіk.
We congratulate Enlіk on her well-deserved scholarship and wish her further success in her studies and scientific activities!
