The Energo University team is the winner of the national olympiad in electrical engineering
On April 15-16, at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev NJSC, the National Subject Olympiad in the field of "Electrical Engineering" took place among students from higher educational institutions across the Republic of Kazakhstan. The strongest teams from all over the country participated in the event. Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev) was represented by students specializing in 6B07101 "Electrical Engineering": Daulet Akhmedov, Matvey Moroz, and Anuar Saurambaev. The team was led by Associate Professor I.V. Kazanin of the Department of Renewable and Alternative Energy Sources.
At the end of the olympiad, out of 39 participants in the individual competition, two students from Energo University won prizes: Daulet Akhmedov took first place, and Matvey Moroz took third place. In the team competition among 14 teams, ours showed the best results and came first!
