Student Conference at Energo University

On April 18, at Energo University (Almaty University of Energy and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev), a scientific student conference titled "Student and Scientific-Technical Challenges of the 21st Century" was held, organized by the Language Department.

The conference was organized by the Department of Languages. The plenary session began with a welcoming speech by the Head of the Department of Languages, M.M. Tuleup. She noted that the purpose of the annual student conference is to foster a scientific culture among students and to instill in them the skills of scientific and academic communication. Associate Professor Sovetova Z.S. presented a slide presentation on the theme "Student and Science."

The plenary session was followed by four sections moderated by Associate Professors R.A. Dosmakhanova and A.U. Zhussupova, and Senior Lecturer            G.S. Almukhametova. 33 reports were presented in the sections conducted in Kazakh, Russian, English, and German languages. The students demonstrated a broad knowledge base, high intellectual level, and strong public speaking skills on scientific topics. Additionally, the participants displayed their digital literacy through slide presentations related to their reports. The students' interest in modern scientific and technical challenges, as well as their ability to find new information and think creatively, was commendable. Some students even captivated the audience with their enthusiastic speeches about the achievements of modern technology.

All conference participants received certificates. The competition committee, consisting of faculty members from the department, conducted a thorough analysis of all speeches to identify the best works. Consequently, awards were given in three categories: "The Best Report," "The Best Presentation," and "The Best Creative Solution."

"The Best Presentation" - Homaira Yusufi from Afghanistan, BTa-23 group

"The Best Creative Solution" - Hekmatullah Suha from Afghanistan, BTa-23 group

German language section:

"The Best Report" - Ualiev Azamat from SI-22-4 group

"The Best Presentation" - Karzhaubai Rayimbek from SIk-22-1 group

"The Best Creative Solution" - Bibanova Aruzhan from SI-22-4 group

The conference aimed not only to recognize the best speakers but also to emphasize the importance of research activities and encourage participation in intellectual events.
