A meeting was held at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumbarbek Daukeev) with Laura Paluanova, a representative of the Erasmus+ National Office in Kazakhstan.
Erasmus+ is a program of the European Union in the field of education, vocational training, youth policy, and sports. Its aim is to promote the professional and personal development of citizens and to foster cooperation between universities.
During the information session, the university management, institute directors, and department heads were presented with the key directions of the program:
-academic mobility (students, staff, and teaching staff),
-cooperation between universities,
-support for reform policies.
Laura Paluanova talked about the updated participation rules and noted that Energo University already has experience in successful cooperation with Erasmus+ and expressed hope for our university's continued participation in the program.
