Graduation-2024: Energo University Graduates a Record Number of Engineers

On July 6, a record number of graduates – 1752 people – stepped into the big world from the walls of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev (Energo University)! 142 of them are master's degree holders, 29 are doctoral candidates, and 1581 are bachelor's degree holders.

With almost a 50-year history, the university has trained about 40 thousand specialists for the most important sectors of Kazakhstan's economy over the years.

Today, our graduates work in responsible positions in various companies both within the country and beyond. They are responsible for generating electricity and heat, providing communication services, designing, assembling, and maintaining complex technical equipment, launching space satellites, ensuring information security, and participating in the digitalization of all processes to ensure the comfort of Kazakhstan's citizens.
