Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis: A New Educational Program at Energo University

Starting in 2024, Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev) will begin offering a new educational program (EP) in "Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis."

The program has successfully passed the necessary expertise, been approved by the National Center for the Development of Higher Education, and is included in the registry of educational programs by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Training under the EP "Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis," which is part of the B057 "Information Technology" group of educational programs, will be conducted at the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies at AUPET. Notably, students in this EP will receive the full volume of knowledge required for bachelor’s programs in just three years!

Students in the new program will study disciplines such as "Cloud Technologies and High-Performance System Administration," "Intelligent Data Analysis," "Image Processing and Computer Vision," "Machine Learning," Programming in Python and Java; "Artificial Intelligence Systems and Neural Networks," "Video Surveillance Systems," and many others.

Students who choose the EP "Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis" will have the opportunity to work with modern computer equipment and have access to the necessary software in the university’s high-tech educational laboratories such as Apple Lab, "Virtual and Augmented Reality," Kaspersky Lab, and others.
