Employees of Energo University took part in the 20th International Asian School seminar \"Problems of optimization of complex systems\"

Olga Alexandrovna Usatova, a lecturer at the Cybersecurity Department of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies and Head of the Department of Cybersecurity of Energo University Begimbayeva Enlik Serikovna (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev), took part in the 20th International Asian School seminar "Problems of optimization of complex systems". The event was held from from July 19th to 30th on Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.

The seminar was attended by 65 representatives of the scientific community of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The purpose of the event was to unite the scientific research of scientists from the CIS countries, exchange experience on a number of problems of modern science, as well as transfer this experience to young researchers, graduate students and undergraduates.

The meetings of the School Seminar were organized in sections and included the following areas:

- Mathematical models and optimization problems in big data analysis and pattern recognition.

- Optimization tasks in the organization of computing.

- Optimization tasks in socio-economic processes.

- Mathematical methods for solving optimization problems.

- Optimization problems in modeling real systems.

- Optimization tasks in the construction and operation of geoinformation systems.

- Artificial intelligence in optimization and optimization tasks in artificial intelligence systems.

- Digital twins and their use in optimizing scientific experiments and the production process.

In total, 55 reports were heard during the seminar. O.A. Usatova and E.E. Begimbayeva, together with their fellow scientist Sh.N. Makilenov, presented a report on the topic "The concept of risk-based authentication using blockchain to protect medical data".
