Students from Energo University Discuss Cybersecurity with ASTEL Professional Team

As part of the partnership between Energo University and Astel, a meeting took place at the Department of Cybersecurity of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, where experts met with 4th-year students from the "Information Security Systems" educational program.

Astel, one of Kazakhstan’s largest telecom operators, is a provider of digital solutions and telecommunications services. The company's representatives—Klim Goltsman, Head of the Information Security Operations Center; Sherkhan Naimanhan, Head of the Monitoring Sector; and Valeria Mavlyutova, Analyst—shared their experiences and discussed cybersecurity issues with the students. Topics included protecting personal data from cyberattacks, the differences between what specialists refer to as Red team and Blue team, and much more.

At the end of the meeting, students participated in an engaging quiz.
