Energo University professor gave an open lecture to students on nuclear power plants
On September 12, at Energo University, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Professor of the "Thermal Power Engineering" Department at the Institute of Energy and Green Technologies, Andrey Anatolyevich Kibarins, delivered an open lecture to students on "The Prospects for the Development of Nuclear Energy in the Context of the Global Green Transition."
During his speech, the expert addressed the structure of electricity production in Kazakhstan, outlined the existing challenges, and highlighted the main global trends and prospects for the development of thermal and electric generation in the country.
Additionally, the professor and the audience discussed in detail the prerequisites for building a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, noting its environmental friendliness, high productivity, and reliability.
