Rector of Energo University was elected a member of the Public Council of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On September 13, Astana hosted the first meeting of the updated composition of the Public Council for Combating Corruption, chaired by Askhat Zhumagali, Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption. The Public Council consisted of 17 people - public and political figures, deputies, scientists, representatives of the academic environment, including the rector of Energo University Gani Nygymetov.
During the first meeting, organizational issues of the activities of the renewed Council, anti-corruption policy were discussed, and the Chairman of the Council was elected.
The election of Gani Nygymetov to the Public Council testifies not only to the personal reputation of the rector, the Energo University team, but also places great responsibility on the university itself, in which issues of zero tolerance for corruption in the academic environment are of paramount importance.
We wish the Council successful work and achievement of the goals for the formation of an anti-corruption culture in our society.
