Goals

The research and teaching Master's program in "Modern and Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies" focuses on training specialists in the development and study of advanced technologies in sustainable energy. The program covers solar, wind, hydro, and hydrogen energy systems, smart grids, and energy efficiency improvement methods. Special emphasis is placed on scientific research and teaching, preparing graduates for careers in research institutes, universities, and engineering companies.

ON-1 Demonstrate the ability to improve and develop their intellectual level based on knowledge of philosophy of science, pedagogy of higher education, foreign languages of project management and psychology. Able to independently acquire new knowledge and skills and expand scientific outlook, speak in public and work in a group, conduct training and classroom lessons, compose and prepare master's theses and scientific projects at the proper methodological level.

ON-2 Analyze modern problems of using renewable energy, RES facilities. predict promising trajectories for the development of green energy. Carry out scientific research using modern methods, process the results of experiments, solve applied research problems, and issue scientific articles. Use planning techniques for conducting multifactor experiments and mathematical processing of arrays. Conduct a regional analysis of the distribution of renewable energy resources across the territory.

ON-3 Own methods for calculating and analyzing the potential of renewable energy sources and the parameters of components of renewable energy sources, and is able to comprehensively use RES power plants and the ability to use various types of energy storage devices.

ON-4 Develop and correctly execute technological documents in accordance with all regulatory rules and laws. Evaluate the effectiveness of RES projects and its further implementation and implementation. Can make decisions to ensure the tasks of socio-economic development and ecology.

ON-5 Possess knowledge on promising types of electric transports and autonomous power supply systems based on renewable energy sources. Investigate the problems of an economic and organizational nature arising from the integration of renewable energy facilities into a single energy system.

ON-6 Be able to develop mathematical models of the objects under study. Develop projects for the introduction of renewable energy facilities in the grid. Able to effectively use converting equipment for integration.

ON-7 Show theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of modern diagnostics and insulation testing of electrical equipment of renewable energy facilities. Able to analyze the parameters of electric power quality and electromagnetic compatibility

ON-8 Develop energy saving projects in power systems using renewable energy sources. Adapt new energy-saving technologies on autonomous renewable energy systems. Apply circuit solutions for optimal power control and electricity generation at renewable energy facilities. Use preventive test methods and assess the state of insulation of electrical equipment at renewable energy facilities and consider protection against the effects of electromagnetic interference on the insulation of secondary circuits, control the effect of the quality of electrical energy on electromagnetic compatibility.

ON-9 Possess the skills of project management in the electric power industry and the ability to conduct a technical and economic analysis of the effectiveness of design solutions. Make financial and economic calculations to assess the effectiveness of a RES investment project

ON-10 Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of modern computer and information technologies, digital technology and software in solving scientific and technical problems of the electric power industry. Use GIS technologies in RES resource assessments and master the skills of modeling elements of electric power systems in the MatLab environment, plan and conduct experiments on the scientific basis of modern processing methods.
