Goals

The professional Master's program in "Automation and Control" is designed to train specialists in the design, implementation, and operation of automated control systems and intelligent technologies. The program covers industrial robotics, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and modern digital platforms. Special emphasis is placed on the practical application of knowledge for careers in industrial enterprises, engineering firms, and high-tech industries.

  • LО-1. Have skills in building microprocessor control systems (MCS). Be able to design hardware and software for MCS.

  • LО-2. Know the features of digital control systems. Be able to synthesize digital regulators in the automation of production processes.

  • LО-3. Possess the skills of software and stabilizing optimal control and synthesis of intelligent control systems.

  • LО-4. Master the basic methods of data mining, descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analysis, etc.

  • LО-5. Know the main stages of the scientific research process. Master the basics of TRIZ and research methods.

  • LО-6. Possess the skills to create MES systems that ensure the interaction of subsystems in order to receive and transfer technological and control data.

  • LО-7. Master the skills of calculating the parameters of the control system, procedures for the analytical design of regulators.

  • LО-8. Possess methods of diagnostics and analysis of reliability of automation systems, taking into account the characteristics of their qualitative and quantitative indicators.

  • LО-9. Master the basic methods of management theory: synthesis of systems with variable structure, modal management, identification, adaptation, etc.

Graduates of the OP AU are prepared to work in the energy, oil, gas, metallurgical
industries, in research universities, research and design institutes, in higher
education institutions, and are able to perform the following types of professional activities:
