Goals
The PhD program in "Automation and Control" focuses on training specialists in the development and implementation of automated control systems for industry and manufacturing. The program emphasizes research in cyber-physical systems, digital control, robotics, and smart technologies. Graduates acquire skills in designing and optimizing complex systems, conducting scientific research, and working in high-tech companies.
- LO-1. Disclose the content of a research paper. Justify, analyse and formulate decision-making options. Apply methods of scientific research and systems analysis in the development of automation and control systems.
- LO-2. Possess intellectual methods of synthesis of control systems using expert systems, fuzzy logic and neural network structures
- LO-3. Possess technologies and software tools for planning, design, engineering analysis and management of technological complexes, production and business processes.
- LO-4. Develop and investigate simulation models and control algorithms in the field of automation based on modern mathematical methods and tools.
- LO-5. Apply new information technologies and methods of machine learning and intelligent systems to improve the efficiency of production management.
PhD graduates are highly qualified scientific and academic professionals in the fields of automation, control systems, and digital technologies.
PhD graduates:
