Goals

The PhD program in "Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications" aims to prepare highly qualified researchers and specialists in the development and optimization of radioelectronic and telecommunication systems. The program focuses on both fundamental and applied research, covering areas such as 5G and 6G wireless networks, satellite communication, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital signal processing. Graduates acquire competencies for conducting scientific research, managing projects, and working in leading research institutions, high-tech companies, and educational organizations.

Laboratory "Modeling of telecommunication networks and processes" is provided with modern computers with software that allows you to build various virtual telecommunication networks: System View (System Vue) by Elanix; GPSS - Word from Mituteman; Lab View from National Instruments; Boson Network; NetCracker Professional 4.0; PCP Shredder; Asterisk; STATISTICA.

  • B-410. The laboratory "Space and ground radio communication system" includes laboratory equipment and a computer class for performing virtual work. The following equipment is used in the laboratory: subunit of the expander of the receiving satellite station "Moscow"; digital satellite receiver Digital Satellite Receiver for studying satellite TV signal reception technology; a set of satellite installation for studying the technology of receiving a digital TV signal and Internet data transmission stream with the possibility of direct recording of the received signal on a computer for the purpose of subsequent processing; four universal laboratory stands with 16 replaceable units for laboratory work to study the principles of operation of various transmitter units; a set of digital radio modems with the possibility of organizing a digital radio relay line CISCO-AIR-BR-350. There are 11 computers in the laboratory. Their software allows you to perform virtual laboratory work in the following disciplines: Satellite and radio relay transmission systems; Optical communication systems; Telecommunication system guides. 10 student computers of the combined laboratory with hardware and software complexes for studying Wi-Fi networks connected via Wi-Fi wireless technology to the local network of AUPET are available. Mobile trunking stations ALINCO (analog) and Hytera (digital) for learning their programming, specialized settings and conducting negotiations in the selective call mode are available.
