- To master modern information technologies, methods of collection, storage and processing of information, software used in the creation and operation of biotechnical and medical systems;
- To know the element base of medical devices, apparatuses and systems; the main types of materials used in medical devices and apparatuses; the main methods and means of measurements of electrical, radiotechnical and biophysical quantities and parameters;
- To possess programming skills in high-level languages, microcontroller programming tools and languages, software for modeling and research of biotechnical and medical systems;
- Possess the methods of automatic control and information processing in biotechnical complexes, diagnostic and expert systems, health care ACS;
- Apply intellectual intelligence methods for analysis, modeling and management of biomedical systems;
- Carry out maintenance and repair of biotechnical and medical devices and systems, instruments, devices and means of biomedical technology;
- Perform technical control of quality conformity of biomedical equipment products to the established standards;
- Develop and conduct preliminary feasibility study of biomedical equipment projects, collect and analyze input data for calculation and design of parts, components and assemblies of biotechnical systems and medical equipment;
- Develop design and technical documentation, execute completed design and development works in the subject area of biotechnical and medical systems and technologies;
- To carry out certification of the main types of medical equipment using the basic provisions and requirements of the current regulatory documentation on medical equipment.
