Goals

Training specialists with deep knowledge and practical skills in the design, operation, maintenance, and development of electric transport systems. The program focuses on developing competencies in: the development and implementation of energy-efficient and environmentally safe solutions; the use of modern technologies for controlling electric drives and battery systems; the application of digital tools for the diagnosis, monitoring, and optimization of transport systems.

Master the basics of legal and ethical norms, academic writing methods, cultural and physical self-development, and be able to apply them in professional activities. Be able to scientifically substantiate objective knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan;

- Be able to use modern computer and information technologies, digital equipment, and software in electric transport, demonstrating skills in working with computer networks. Have an understanding of artificial intelligence, its methods and algorithms used to find optimal solutions in various optimization tasks and Big Data analysis;

- Be proficient in the basics of social, language, and economic knowledge, methods and techniques of production planning and organization, and apply safety standards, labor protection, and environmental regulations;

- Demonstrate and apply basic mathematical, physical, mechanical, and other natural science knowledge, as well as the theoretical foundations of electrical engineering and electrical circuits in an interdisciplinary context to solve electrical engineering problems in the field of electric transport.;

Perform calculations of parameters and characteristics, select electric traction machines, digital automated drive systems, and switching electrical devices. Have knowledge of chemistry fundamentals and the features of modern electrical materials, and possess skills in working with electronic and power equipment;

- Study the operating principles, technical characteristics, and design features of the developed and used electric transport systems, as well as their backup protection types; 

- Know the standards, methodological and regulatory materials, and the basics of design, installation, and operation of electrical installations for electric transport.;

- Have an understanding of the principles of organization and design of electric vehicles, charging stations, and the electronic and inverter equipment for them;

- Possess the ability to use software packages for calculations, modeling, and automation of the design of electric transport systems with various power sources;

- Formulate the main technical and economic requirements for the designed systems, diagnostics, and repair of electrical equipment for electric vehicles, electric transport, and charging infrastructure;

- Organize the operation and maintenance of technological equipment, the work for the operation, installation, and adjustment of electrical engineering, electric transport vehicles, and personal mobility devices, as well as their technical maintenance;

- laboratories of low and medium voltage electrical equipments;

- pilot plants of industry laboratories of the institute;

- digital relay protection terminals of leading electrical equipment manufacturers Siemens, ABB, ECRA, Schneider electrik;

- switching equipment up to and above 1000 V of ABB, Tavrida Electric, Schneider elektrik, Moeller, Siemens, IEK firms;

- computer-television audiences and computer lab classes with special software Power Factory DigSILENT, CHVlaboratory, PS CAD, RastrWIN, MatCad, MatLab and others.
