The Non-commercial Joint Stock Company "Almaty University of Power Energy and Communications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (AUPET)" announces the start of accepting applications for participation in the intra-university stage (Stage I) of the competition for the title of " Best University Teacher"

The competition is held annually in two stages – intra-university and republican. Stage I – the intra-university stage – will take place from November 3, 2025, to November 14, 2025.

The following faculty and staff members are eligible to participate in the intra-university stage of the competition:

• full-time teachers of AUPET;

• teachers with at least five years of continuous scientific and teaching experience at the time of submitting documents for the Competition.

At the time of submitting documents, holders of the title " Best University Teacher" are not allowed to participate in this competition within ten years after receiving the title.

To participate in Stage I of the competition, candidates from the full-time faculty must submit the following documents through the information system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the MES IS):

1. Application form for participation in the competition for the title " Best University Teacher" according to Appendix 1 to the "Rules for awarding the title Best University Teacher" (hereinafter "Rules"), approved by the order of the acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2015, No. 124 (as amended on October 30, 2020, No. 466);

2. Information in accordance with qualitative and quantitative indicators, according to Appendix 2 to the Rules;

3. Annual work schedule, according to Appendix 3 to the Rules;

4. Personal record sheet;

5. Copy of identity document.

Candidates who disagree with the results of the intra-university competition may file an appeal on the day the results are published.

The appeal submission period for the results of the first stage of the competition is from November 17 to November 19.

The Appeal Commission, approved by the order of the head of OVPO, will review the appeal materials within one working day and publish the results taking the appeal into account.

Candidates who receive a positive decision from the OVPO Commission will proceed to Stage II of the competition.

Stage II – the republican stage – will be held from December 1 to December 12, where the competition winners will be determined.
