Ospanov Baurzhan Kenesbekovich
Kazakhstan-based entrepreneur and philanthropist
Ospanov Baurzhan Kenesbekovich was born on March 12, 1968, in the village of Zhylandy, Andreyev District, Taldykorgan Region.
In 1985, he graduated from secondary school in Zhylandy and enrolled at the Almaty Energy Institute, majoring in Power Plants Engineering. He holds a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree.
In 2000, he graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in International Economic Relations.
After completing his education in the energy sector, he pursued entrepreneurial activities. He headed several companies that were later consolidated into TSC Group Corporation, which was subsequently transformed into the ZHERSU Investment and Industrial Corporation. Currently, IPC ZHERSU provides stable employment for more than 2,000 people. Professional experience:
1992–1995 — Scientific and Production Enterprise “Technoprom”, Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs;
1995–1997 — JSC “Nazar”, Vice President;
1997–2001 — LLP “AEK Engineering”, Deputy Director;
2001–2008 — LLP “TSC Group Corporation”, Chairman of the Board of Directors;
Since October 1, 2008 — Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LLP “ZHERSU Investment and Industrial Corporation”.
