Sauhimov Almaz Abzhalievich

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in nanomaterials and nanotechnology, scientist and manager in the electric power industry.

In 2002, he entered the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Communications (AUPET), specializing in "Electric Networks and Systems". In 2007, he completed his master's degree in "Electric Power Engineering" at AUPET. In 2012, he entered the doctoral program at the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev, specializing in "Nanomaterials and nanotechnology", where he defended his dissertation and received a PhD degree.

Professional path:
– since September 2007 – engineer-technician at the TNIL IPTEK AUES;
– since September 2009 – engineer of the 2nd category at the TNIL IPTEK AUES;
– since May 2010 – junior researcher at the TNIL IPTEK AUES;
– since September 2014 – assistant of the Department of "Electric Stations, Networks and Systems" of AUES;
– since January 2015 – senior lecturer of the Department of "Electric Stations, Networks and Systems" of AUES;
– since August 2015 – deputy dean of the electric power faculty of AUES;
– since August 2016 – dean of the electric power faculty of AUES;
– since October 2017 – director of the Institute of "Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering" of AUES;
– since March 2019 – vice-rector for research and innovation activities of AUES.

Has deep knowledge in the field of electric power industry, nanomaterials and innovative technologies, is actively involved in scientific, pedagogical and organizational activities.
