Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy of the Mazhilis of the VII, VIII convocations
Doctor of Technical Sciences, thermal power engineer, public and government figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1990, he graduated from the Alma-Ata Power Engineering Institute, specializing in thermal power engineering. In 2005, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic of "Ecological assessment of the impact of oil and gas pollutants on the natural environment (using the Mangistau region as an example)". Since 1998 - Corresponding Member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He began his career as an assistant at the Alma-Ata Power Engineering Institute. He worked in the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then at the Aktau Polytechnic Institute, where he rose from a teacher to an academic secretary. He held the positions of dean of the petrochemical faculty, deputy and director of university branches in Aktau. In different years, he headed the Aktau branch of the Karaganda State University, was the first deputy chairman of the Mangistau branch of the Nur Otan party.
In 2012-2015, he was the Akim of Aktau. From 2015 to 2020 - Deputy and Advisor to the Director of Asia Techno Service LLP.
Actively involved in public activities: Chairman of the Mangistau Regional Society "Kazakh Tili", member of the National Kurultai under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (since 2022), head of the Republican Environmental Public Council of the AMANAT party.
Has extensive experience in electoral work: deputy of the Mangistau Regional Maslikhat (1999-2003, 2007), deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VII convocation (2021-2023) and the VIII convocation (since March 2023). Since March 29, 2023 - Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
