Galievich Zhakyp Khairushev

Zhakyp Khairushev is a distinguished energy expert in Kazakhstan with over 25 years of leadership experience across key enterprises in the power and industrial sectors.

He holds a degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and received business management training from the International Academy of Business.

Throughout his career, he has led major energy companies, including Moynak Hydropower Plant JSC and 3-Energoortalyk JSC, where he was responsible for implementing modernization projects and introducing energy-efficient technologies.

Since April 2025, he has served as Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he actively promotes the development of human capital, modernization of energy infrastructure, and the advancement of nuclear energy as part of Kazakhstan’s energy strategy.
