Orazbek Telbayuly Bekbas was born on July 20, 1950, in Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. Power engineer. Since 2015, Chairman of the Trade Union of Energy Workers of Kazakhstan. Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Recipient of the "Kurmet" Order.
– In 1977, graduated from the Almaty Institute of Energy with a degree in Thermal Power Engineering.
– Began his career as a plumbing equipment operator at Almaty CHPP-1;
– Worked as a foreman at "Sredazenergomontazh";
– Served as Secretary of the Komsomol Committee at the Almaty Energy Institute;
– In 1981 — Assistant to a deputy of the Almaty City Council;
– Chairman of the Almaty City Committee;
– Senior Specialist of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR;
– First Deputy Akim (Mayor) of Taldykorgan;
– Held leadership roles in the State Standards System of Kazakhstan;
– 2009–2011 — Deputy Director at “KEGOC-Service”, Chief Manager-Coordinator of the Administrative Department;
