"The Image of Kazakhstani Women in the Context of Global Modernization"

On April 10, 2026, a roundtable discussion dedicated to Kazakhstan's Scientists' Day will be held at the G. Daukeyev Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications.

The event brings together leading scientists, experts, and representatives of the academic community to discuss the transformation of the social, cultural, and political image of Kazakhstani women in the context of modernization processes, as well as the development of science in general.

The roundtable will cover the following topics and areas:

1. Historical Continuity: From Tradition to Modernity;
2. The Role of Women in Implementation of the Strategy for the Modernization on Public Consciousness;
3. Women's Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Modern Kazakhstan;
4. The Image of Women in Literature, Art, Science, and Education;
5. Political and Discursive Practices of Gender Representation in the Era of Global Transformations.

The event will be held in person and online (Zoom), allowing for a wide audience to join.
